The movie that will surely haunt my week. A movie of epic proportions that embody the storyline.

300-Frankย Miller

It is a good treat of my good friend from Accenture SLC-Roy Leonin. Thank You bro! hehe. He won a leadership award and the grand prize is the movie of any choice to Globe Platinum Exclusive Cinema at Gateway. I was so happy when he finally announced the date when he will be treating, fortunately enough it was moved to a date that I am most comfortably free, on a Sunday-yesterday.

He also texted me to bring along a friend to accompany me of the treat. I was with my brother though because of his car. hehe.. ๐Ÿ™‚ Waah I am just so happy it was the first time that I watched a movie at Globe Cinema 10. Unlimited drinks, popcorn, reclining chair, what else can you ask for.. WAHHH! I am so privileged and thankful to Roy.. hehe.. I think I will be addicted to go to that theater everytime I will go watch a movie.. It is so addicting. ๐Ÿ™‚

Then the movie, well at first I really do not like the movie about history and soldiers and ancient story. But it just dragged me to this entirely different world where you get to appreciate those kind of stuffs. The story telling was so fine that I was awaken from my sleepiness. hehe.. Some of the aspects of the film are so great. I liked the special effects so much, it just really made me think, how did they do that? No way, is that for real? Every scene will really ask yourself that same intriguing question, is this for real? – legs being amputated, heads and hand being chopped. All the goriness was all there. hehe.. I also liked the comedy behind every story. When the Arkanians and Spartans meet to join forces, they were mocked on the number of Spartans to join the army and they were told: “You, what is your profession? – potter, and you? – smith, Spartans who are we? – SOLDIERS! (well I presume that is what I heard..:)) And King Leonidas continued – We have more soldiers that you have.” And other comedies from the movie.ย  The battle was superb! I couldn’t elaborate more.. hehe.ย  I personally liked theirs abs, no gay undertone over there.ย  Start building those abs now.. hehe..

Overall, it was a movie that everyone should be watching. A movie that I think, mature audiences will appreciate and gain something from. It is not all about fighting, but what you are fighting for, and not giving up to it. Fight to the end. Sacrifices that are worth remembering.

Yesterday was really something..

I didin’t feel much to tech, so I just went to Yakal and man the booth for the House council clearance. And I have learned so much of the going ons inside the dorm. I mean the rumors are all so real. Thanks to Ate Arlene and the drama of her life in the dorm, then came Adrian and Nix with thier dilemma on thier courses. Oh not me, I already have my mind fixed. And I am happy with my EE life. Past 11:30 meet Bryan for our project, I hope to finish them soon. Thanks to him, he is so good. Thank good ness that I group with him.. hehe.. Don’t get me wrong, I am willing to help but it is just that there is too much last week that I have taken for granted my Acads requirements. But I am all free now, or so I thought. Wahh, I just remembered that more things should be done.. ๐Ÿ™‚

Then came the ACM council meet, what have I gone into. I hope this YOUNG batch of officers will really get it on. As far as ACM and its members are concerned. New hopes and new expectations are bound for this fresh new COUNCIL. I just hope that we can make it through. Wigi thanks for that great deal of judgement, I hope that you wouldn’t regret it, we are here to help. Thanks Abby for choosing the Finance. ๐Ÿ™‚ย  to ACM 07-08! MORE POWER!

I came late in my EE252 class, and I dont know what the topic is all about. I guess it is about estimation of the curve using different algorithm. Rughe-Kurth WHAAT?? hehe.. O well thank goodness that was the last meeting we will have, my 6-9pm are now free… Yipee!

Yakal HC meeting at 9:30 and we talked about YAKAL ELECTIONS are now on going. hehe.. Last day of filling is on Wed. ๐Ÿ™‚ย  Then it hit me, who will lead Yakal now? hehe.. God Bless to the new Council!

Then the results are out. SHAN became the new USC CHAIRPERSON.

Recently my phone brokedown last Wednesday. When I slide it up, it just goes BLACK nothing on the screen. And when you slide it down same things happen and sometimes the image was inverted. so I went to Nokia Service Center to have it examined and the guy told me that maybe the connections where all jumbled up. He qouted the price amounting to 560 php. They later texted me yesterday that the phone repair will cost me 861 php. I called them a while ago and it is always busy. So I emailed the Customer Service and told them why nobody is answering the phone.

And just recently I came across with the website and I saw this Iphone. Waah! I like this phone, so much!ย  What I was planning to do is to sell my old phone, buy something that cost so much less and save for this phone. I heard it will be released this July in the Philippines and I just can’t wait to get a grab on this coll phone..WAHH!

But it is so expensive, around 25,000. not bad, I think! I just can’t wait!

Here are some of its specs.. ๐Ÿ™‚

People are going gaga over the Apple iPhone because of its features:

  • 3.5โ€ณ 320ร—480 touch-sensitive screen (no more keypad!)
  • Runs OS X
  • Comes in 4GB or 8GB
  • Quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900), EDGE, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity
  • Built-in 2.0 megapixel camera

Last week, during the service when it is announced that Pastor Rich will be preaching this Sunday’s Service I was so excited. He is Pastor Carlo’s guide and I heard many good things about him. Then it came 9am at ClubO. hehe.. I was surprised by the multitudes of people coming in for the service, we arrived just in time for the worship and it is great! I love it, that it doesn’t bother me at all that the speakers are so close to me ang Mel.

I learned so matny things on the preaching, Promises that God have on every people on earth. He is so lively when he preach, and it doesn’t bore me at all. I like the way he performs the revelations that he has to share. The testimonies were so great. he came from ARIZONA and the hot of the sun is so real that you can literally fry an egg. And having Air Conditioner is NEVER a luxury it is a necessity. And they have to built a church there with not enough money. But in Jesus name he knew that money will never be a problem.

He also shared that we should be excited of the promises of God to us. And that is one thing I thing that I do not have, the excitement of God’s promise to me.

And just recently I bought a notebook to write my devotions in and the learnings I would be getting on the Service and Post Encounter. I hope to be a better Christian now..:)

Encounter Weekend with GOD

Yep! I choose to be a true Christian.

After attending the Encounter Weekend. Thanks to Mike for inviting me. I realized the true revelation of Jesus to mankind. The feeling is so overwhelming I cannot really discuss it in here. I tell you, words are not enough to relay the things that had happen to me in the weekend of being able to communicate to God, in the real sense of the word.

I am just so thankful to be introduced to HIM in this manner, I wouldn’t be like this, without that weekend. Where you are free to worship HIM and just be able to spend time with HIM. With sins already forgiven, you have nothing to hide. And the feeling of belongingness starts to take over you.

It is really something everyone should be experiencing! A weekend of knowing more about yourself, others and Jesus Christ. His revelations to you, your family, your friends and your nation.

Now I’m FREE!!! ๐Ÿ™‚

It has been a long time since I last logged in and finally, I have enough time to do 2 post today. Just recently, exectly last Sun we went to Anilao, MABINI (in case you do not know) Batangas.

As early as 4:30 am (the time we arrived to the UP Checkpoint), thanks for Char, Giselle and Ate Geline for waking me up; perople are already busy arranging our classmates. Name tags were given color-coded per group. And suddenly it hit me, I forgot to bring my list of those people who paid, anyway I can see that once we get back. We proceed to our tour and went to our first stop. SHELL station in SLEX, we pickup 2 of our classmates there.

We arrived at DIVE 7000 resort at around 9:15 just as scheduled. We were greeted then by the managing/orner of the resort by a warning for those who doesn’t know how to swim. The currents were going to the China Sea in the morning and back in the afternoon. We were also advised that when there is a drowning person, see to it that he/she is so tired, before tring to help because drowning people tend to drown others.

Some of the activities we have done: picture taking, picture taking and picture taking.. ๐Ÿ™‚ NO! Some are pretty interesting, we went MANTA TOWING. What is that? A kind of surveying under water, classifying the type of corals and identifying how many percentage are there of the same classification. And it was FUN! I just hate it when the water is always finding itself in my nose..ARGHH!! We also went snorkelling, so many live corals and colorful fishes.

That’s all in the morning, during lunch we were served with a sumptuous meal. My belly went aching after I finish eating my meal. It was delicious, I should say.

In the afternoon, we went Fish Census, data were drawn to the slab. It was also fun.

I enjoyed the whole trip but the work is not yet finished we were wrong in counting.. we have to pay additional 15 pesos per person. SAD.. Well I hope my classmates would understand.

SOme pics here..
